Organizational Statement RE: Continued Teacher’s Strike
Dear BGCS Families, Supporters & Friends,
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale is aware that the Arizona Teachers Strike could continue into next Monday, April 30 and beyond. BGCS will continue to provide full-day services for our families during this time. All Branches across our organization will continue to remain OPEN from 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for the duration of the AZ Teachers Strike.
All active ASP (After-School Program) participants will not be charged any additional fees; however, non-ASP participants will be charged $35 per day.
Similar to this week, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale will not be able to provide transportation during any continuing strike days. Parents will be responsible for all transportation (pick-up and drop-off), as well as providing a both a lunch and snack for their children.
Enrollment will be closely monitored, so please contact your local Branch for more information.
