BRANCH HISTORY

The Thunderbirds Branch opened its big blue doors in 2001 to meet the growing population demands in the Grayhawk and North Scottsdale communities. The Branch replaced a satellite site at Grayhawk Elementary which had been providing Boys & Girls Club programming since 1998. Proudly named after the Thunderbirds’ organization, a big supporter of the Club, the Branch provides national award winning youth programming, year round sports leagues, technology lab, art room, teen programming and more.

TEENS

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale offers teen services to members in grades 7-12 (incoming 7th graders must be 12 years old). Programs are uniquely developed based on the needs and interests of the members that come through our doors. Field trips, events and programs are created to benefit teenage youth and help them grow socially and academically, while still keeping a focus on fun.
