Youth of the Year

Youth of the Year is a program highlighting the “cream of the crop” of teen members of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Scottsdale.  The Thunderbirds Branch is proud to showcase their wonderful representatives. From left to right: Tatum Causey, Senior, Veronica Fasolino, Sophomore, Daniel Duffy, Junior, and Allison Mertz, Junior; all students at Pinnacle High School. These Thunderbirds Youth of the Year have grown up in the Club, and in addition to their impressive resumes of extracurricular activities, they each go above and beyond in Club & Community service programs. They have written amazing speeches, with the theme “What the Club Means to Me”, and have gone through an intensive individual and group interview process for the Youth of the Year program. One of these candidates will be chosen and announced at the In-House Youth of the Year Dinner on November 19th. We wish them all the best of luck!
