Virginia G. Piper Branch 2025-26 Youth of the Year

Bella first walked into the Virginia G. Piper Boys & Girls Club at nine years old to look out for her little brother. Along the way, she discovered passions of her own—including basketball—and a voice that now lifts up teams on the court and off.

Her story isn’t about one defining moment. It’s about learning, day by day, how to turn hardship into heart, and resilience into purpose. From a quiet newcomer to a mentor, from supporting her brother to helping build a community that feels like home, Bella proves the Club is more than a place to go after school. It’s where healing turns into strength and strength is shared.
